Rogers Public Education Foundation

20th Anniversary

The Rogers Public Education Foundation promotes and enhances the quality of education in our community by collecting and distributing money for worthwhile academic programs -- programs that would not normally be funded through conventional means.  The foundation also recognizes and rewards the achievements of students and teachers in the Rogers School District.

Please consider becoming a part of this important effort to support education in our community!

6th Annual Wall of Distinction Banquet

The Rogers Public Education Foundation will host the sixth annual Wall of Distinction banquet in April to pay tribute to the special accomplishments of Rogers School District alumni, teachers, administrators, parents, and supportive community members.

To further this mission, in 2012 the Rogers Public Education Foundation established a Wall of Distinction at both Rogers High School and Rogers Heritage High School. The Wall is located prominently outside the auditorium at each school. Glass engravings are placed on the walls recognizing the individuals, their connection to the Rogers School District, and their accomplishments. This year's honorees are retired Rogers Superintendent Dr. Janie Darr; retired educator and administrator Bonnie Grime; former school business manager David Cauldwell; and Bob Crafton, a retired local businessman, a community activist, a former school board member, and one of the founders of the RPEF.

The 2017 Wall of Distinction honorees will be inducted April 20, 2017, at the awards banquet in the Pinnacle Ballroom at the Embassy Suites.

Tickets will be available for purchase on March 1, 2017 at the following Arvest locations: Downtown Rogers, Village on the Creeks, Lowell, Pleasant Grove OR online at

Merwin Grant Awarded --
"Learning Starts on the Feet - Not the Seat"

On March 1, the Rogers Public Education Foundation awarded the second grant
funded by a special bequeathment of local outdoors enthusiast George Merwin.  Deb Walter, Mark Morley, and JD Gunnell of Rogers New Technology High, submitted the selected grant application entitled, "Learning Starts on the Feet - Not the Seat."  Walter, Morley and Gunnell were awarded $30,000 through this second Merwin Grant to be used for outdoor education gear and equipment.  Congratulations!
