Before beginning registration, please have the following documents ready:
- Age Verification – One of the following:
- Birth certificate or other approved certification of date of birth
- Statement by the local registrar or a county recorder certifying the child's date of birth
- Attested baptismal certificate
- Passport
- Affidavit of the date and place of birth by the child's parent or guardian
- Previous school records
- United States military identification
- Proof of Address – One of the following:
- Current real-estate property tax receipt showing the parent/guardian’s name and address
- Rental or lease agreement with the parent/guardian’s name and address
- Current utility bill showing the parent/guardian’s name and address

If the parent or guardian of an enrolling student does not have the necessary document, they will be asked to report to the RPS Welcome Office located at 605 West Dyke Road to sign an affidavit.

Each student needs a unique identification number. This can be a Social Security number, or you may request that the school assign an identification number.

- Immunization Record
- Proof of age-appropriate immunizations, as required by the Arkansas Department of Health, or an approved waiver
- Required immunizations include:
- Poliomyelitis (Polio)
- Diphtheria
- Tetanus
- Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
- Red (Rubeola) Measles
- Rubella
- Mumps
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella (Chicken Pox)
- Additional requirements:
- Kindergarten students must have two doses of the Varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccine
- Seventh-grade students must have a Tdap immunization (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis booster)
- Physical Examination (Kindergarten only)

If you do not have an email account and/or would rather complete the enrollment process in person, you are welcome to visit your boundary school or our Welcome Center located at 605 West Dyke Road.
Walk-ins are welcome at the Welcome Center; however, you may visit the Welcome Center Appointment Calendar to schedule an appointment if you prefer.

TRANSFERS & SCHOOL CHOICE
Rogers Public Schools welcomes students from across Northwest Arkansas and offers several transfer options for families. Review the questions below to learn more about Arkansas School Choice, the Petition for Transfer of Students process, and in-district transfers.

Arkansas School Choice is the primary transfer option for students who live outside Rogers Public Schools' attendance boundaries. Applications for the following school year must be submitted by June 1.
Families who miss the School Choice deadline may request consideration through the Petition for Transfer of Students process. Unlike School Choice, this process requires approval from both the resident school district and Rogers Public Schools.

If you live outside the Rogers School District and would like your child to attend Rogers Public Schools for the 2026-2027 school year, you may apply through the Arkansas School Choice Program.
Important Information
- Applications must be submitted by June 1, 2026.
- Approval is subject to state guidelines and available capacity.

A Petition for Transfer of Students (sometimes called a Board-to-Board Transfer) allows a student to request enrollment in a school district outside of their resident district.
The application must first be approved by the resident school district before it can be considered by Rogers Public Schools. Approval from both districts is required.
Transportation for students approved through this process is generally the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

Yes. Students transitioning from homeschool or private school programs may enroll in Rogers Public Schools.
ATHLETIC ELIGIBILITY FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS
Students transferring schools who plan to participate in athletics may be required to complete additional eligibility documentation through the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA).

To remain eligible for athletics after transferring schools, students must complete a CSAP Form verifying that the transfer was not made for athletic purposes.

JV CSAP Eligibility
Students meeting all eligibility requirements except transfer rules may participate at the junior varsity level through the JV CSAP process.
